Mt. Moriah Baptist Church was founded February 14, 1878.  Over the years the church has transformed from a small rural church to a dynamic worship facility.  Under Pastor Emeritus, Rev. Dr. R.H. Mitchell, the church saw phenomenal growth which included a new sanctuary and fellowship hall.  After Rev. Mitchell's retirement, an extensive search for a new pastor was launched.  In June 2017, Rev. Charvis K. Gray accepted the call to pastor Mount Moriah Baptist Church.
